Papa's Birthday and pics of the kids of course!!!!

I had more pictures to post, but blogger was acting up, so I will post just these few. It is rather late to say Happy Birthday to Papa now, but I just wanted you to see how handsome he was when we married. He still is very handsome!!!!

This picture of "Papa and Beya" was taken on our wedding day, on the steps of the Reno, Nevada courthouse, December 16, 1968.

Asa decided he would like to experiment with Beya's makeup.

Happy Birthday Valentina

Our dear Valentina turns one year old tomorrow, the 14th. Her party was yesterday at the Spaghetti Factory. It was so nice to have so many people there that love her to celebrate not only her birthday, but her homecoming as well. Thank you God for making her for us!!!!! I thank God every day for my grandbabies, having two is even better than one!!!!!!!!!
I was so proud of my family yesterday. My daughters are beautiful, sweet, loving girls. My sons-in laws are kind, loving daddies, my husband is my best friend, and my grandbabies are my world.
I know Cameo is going to post tons of pictures, so I will just post two of my babies.

Back on schedule ???????????

The holidays are over and our lives seem to be on a schedule. As much on schedule as retired people can be I guess. Have I mentioned that I love retired life? The only thing lacking is money, but otherwise it can't be beat!!!!!!!!! Papa loves it too, he keeps talking about going to work one day a week, but has yet to do anything about it other than talk! LOL He enjoys his grandbabies as much as I do as you can see below.

Papa with the grandbabies (and toys) at Cameo's

We took Asa to G'dale again this weekend. We were hoping we had snow for him to play in and we did!!! Papa has his Dad's hat that he always wore hanging on the wall above his dresser, Asa saw it and since he is into toro riding and cowboys, he wanted to try it on. Isn't he adorable?

Asa in Great Grandpa Pedro's hat.
He also likes to build with his legos when we are there.

Such concentration!

Here he is setting up his farm. He brought alot of his toys from home, but played with the "Property" toys instead. He wanted to bring them all home with him.

There were a couple of inches of snow when we arrived Sunday night, but snowed two more inches after we went to bed so it was nice soft snow for him to play in the morning.

He would run and fall on purpose, he had a great time.

What an angel!Eating snow off his mittens was his favorite thing to do.

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2008

Happy New Year everyone. I am truly blessed with a wonderful family and it feels so great to have it finally complete. We have waited for "Sissy's Baby" for three years, and this year on Feb. 16, "sissy's baby" finally had a name and face!!!! Our dear Valentina.

My dear Asa is so sweet and is such a great joy to me and all of us. He comes into a room and just lights up the whole place. He has made all of us want another baby in the family.

Our dear Valentina is such a loving happy baby. She makes me laugh all day! Her closed eye, flat mouth smile is so funny.

It is so fun to watch the two of them together. Our joy is tenfold with her here with him.
We had the ultimate Christmas with our two kidos. I cannot imagine anything more heavenly than those two playing together. What fun it is to be a beya!!!!

Life is good.......
